I only have one sibling. A younger sister. Her name is Jingga.
Get it? Biru and Jingga. Neat, right? I have to give my parents credit for that.
Despite our ~aesthetic~ names, my sister and I don’t always have a harmonic relationship. We bicker a lot. Not a day goes by without me and her talking trash to each other. It’s nothing serious though. I guess it’s just how we show our affection. We’re not used to being lovey-dovey although sometimes we do something nice for each other. For instance, I pick her up from work and sometimes she cooks me instant noodles. Other times, she cleans up my room and I buy her snacks.
Surprisingly, I’m quite open to my sister. I find it easy talking to her. Obviously, I don’t tell her about everything that happens in my life, but sometimes we would be engaged in deep conversations. Just like me, my sister is also a closed book, so I’m happy whenever she opens herself a bit to me.
My sister is also my number one concert partner! Both of us have similar tastes in music, so we have a lot of mutual favorite singers and bands. Almost all of the music concerts I have been to, I went there with my sister. If the event is held in another city, usually we will travel together and stay for 1-2 nights. As I stated here, going to music concerts is one of the many things that make me happy. And I’m so grateful that I get to experience most of it with my sister.
I don’t know how my sister and I will be in 5, 10, or 20 years from now. Heck, I don’t even know how we’ll be doing next week. I know there will be a lot of struggles, but at least my sister and I always got each other's back.
